Kampgruppe Biedenstein versus GNAllied in a coastal engagement
This was actually Italians and Brits, but given that they’re still the bad Italians, that counts as Axis, I guess. The Italians were hard pressed closing against large RN vessels, but the MAS boats finally closed to a distance perfect for torpedoes and knocked out the British corvettes, while the Gabbiano-class frigate managed to beat back and sink the MTBs that pursued it. Thank spaghetti, Parmesan, and pizza for overwhelming 20mm fire.

Kampgruppe Biedenstein versus Force 10 From Navarone in a fierce infantry engagement
In a hard-fought action between valiant British commandos and the hordes of Johnny Hun’s jackbooted Wehrmacht, alas, the forces of evil have prevailed. In a rush to take the remains of a small village immediately after it was shelled into oblivion(by one side or the other, or perhaps both), the two squads met on an inauspicious day for the forces of the crown. Unluckily for Sgt Bagley’s men, they were unable to hold against the superior numbers of jackbooted thugs toting Hitler’s buzzsaws and fire-spitting MP40s. The huns with rifles were not the problem, as the King’s Enfields held their own, but before long, the combined weight of fire, as well as the numbers of Krauts rapidly occupying the ruins of the building, forced the king’s men into an orderly retreat, leaving a number of dead on the field, including their officer and medic.
Heinrich’s eating sauerkraut sandwiches in that hamlet tonight.

Ss defender versus Big Red One in a fierce infantry engagement
The fight takes place in the french bocage near the city of Isigny in normandy. An American armoured column was suprised by a german panzer division hidden in the hedgerows. The fight was close and the loses were huge on both side but at the very end of the confrontation the german managed to wipe the allies out of the sectors.

Captain's Avengers versus kampfgruppen smiledge in a fierce infantry engagement
US Paratroopers missed the drop zone and landed along the outskirts of town, where German forces were patrolling. Under the cover of darkness the paratroopers moved up to take the town. The sun rose as US forces attempted to cross the river. The German forces reacted and mobilized, catching the US paratroopers in the open.

la prise du village par les forces alliés a été stoppée par la puissance des canons allemands, notamment un 88 placée sur la colline et le soutient des tigres et des panthers.
le bocage n’a pas réussi aux schermans et aux firefly dont les carcasses parsèment les champs.
