So the SAS were carrying out a foot patrol and met the dreaded hun also out for a stroll. A vicious firefight then followed the sniper duel in which the brave british sniper was fatally wounded. Despite the amount of fire being directed their way, the SAS kept pushing forward until their manpacked flamethrower cleared the beastly jerries from their hiding place behind the wall. This allowed the remaining troopers to push through and clear the flank, winning the game for the allies.

Special mention should go to the SAS medic, who braving enemy fire managed to treat several badly wounded troopers and enabled the advance to carry on.

Tasked with protecting a motley convoy of 4 vessels in the Mediterranean, 2 S-38s and 2 S-100s wiped out a flotilla of 3 British Vospers and also 3 US Higgins PT-boats. Unfortunately, a German tanker and transport were sunk by Allied torpedoes – valuable supplies and material (and ships) that can’t be replaced. Tactical win for the Kriegsmarine but a strategic win for the Allies.

The Allies attempted to put to sea from a Mediterranean port. However, the darkness provided cover for 4 E-boats to get in close with torpedoes and gunfire. Both tankers were sunk (1 by torpedo, the other by gunfire), as well as a US Subchaser. The Kriegsmarine lost only one S-100. The bottleneck at the harbor entrance caused a great deal of chaos for the Allies.
