Tasked with protecting a motley convoy of 4 vessels in the Mediterranean, 2 S-38s and 2 S-100s wiped out a flotilla of 3 British Vospers and also 3 US Higgins PT-boats. Unfortunately, a German tanker and transport were sunk by Allied torpedoes - valuable supplies and material (and ships) that can’t be replaced. Tactical win for the Kriegsmarine but a strategic win for the Allies.
