Relax soldier, Paris has fallen. You deserve a rest!

Tasked with protecting a motley convoy of 4 vessels in the Mediterranean, 2 S-38s and 2 S-100s wiped out a flotilla of 3 British Vospers and also 3 US Higgins PT-boats. Unfortunately, a German tanker and transport were sunk by Allied torpedoes – valuable supplies and material (and ships) that can’t be replaced. Tactical win for the Kriegsmarine but a strategic win for the Allies.

Fresh faced Americans came onto the battlefield to clear the area of Germans. Shots were fired few soldiers killed but ended in a draw for both forces.

Battle for Bréville (3)

Another long day in this crucial battle for this small village in Normandy which seems to become the symbol of Axis resilience.
After days of fruitless fighting, some allied advances have emerged, but the little gained ground is finally resumed.
The main objective of the 6th Airborne was to secure and control the crossroads of the town center, in order to prevent convoys of German reinforcements from reaching the headquarters of the 342 th German division.
While most of the reinforcements were indeed neutralized, some managed to sneak into the mesh of the Allied net.
While the battle was tough, but the fate of Bréville was not yet sealed, and other fights were announced in the coming days
