Report a Battle

Relax soldier, Paris has fallen. You deserve a rest!

My third game of the night went much like the other two. I brought five Zeros to the table this time with my Ace, Sabuto leading the way. He was the only plane that I lost and in that moment also suffered my six boom chit and lost the game. It was me versus his Polish squadron of six planes and it was brutal.

Japan (me) faced off against Jon’s British. It was Zeros versus Spitfires and Hurricanes). The skies were a little cloudy, but weather was mild. The Japanese fell for some decoys and ended up getting flanked early. Both sides lost a plane, but Japan went down to boom chits.

Well, another loss for my Germans. Another game on the desert table. this time I did take a few pics though.
Again my Panther got wacked early in the game and again I took out a Sherman early.
You coulda probably guessed this, but again I did hardly anything after this but lose more and more tanks every turn.
On the plus side my lowly panzer 3 survived to fight another day.
Where was my infantry? Next time. next time.

Sorry folks but the pic I used for this was from an earlier battle. We were very busy here at Ricks cards in Clarksville TN. We had to play our game on the desert table which is not very D-Day like. So anyway…
My poor Germans got crushed! The panther went down in turn 2. I just couldn’t seem to hit anything in the early turns, so I tried to close the distance and did manage to knock out a Sherman 4. Sadly that was the high point for the Germans since next turn I lost 2 tanks to not even a hit on the Americans. It was a slaughter and a hard loss for me.
Lesson learned for me is never use armor without infantry support. I have 5 Hanomags now. I need to use them.

In a valiant defense four Shermans and a M10 halted the advance of a German Armored column. The M10 knocked out a Panther early in the battle and with the loss of two Panzer IVs the remaining German tanks turned tail and ran. The Allies only lost on Sherman.

Akahori’s squadron was required to use an older model Zero during their next patrol. Due to an issue with their airfields a regular pilot and aircraft was required to stay behind. Surprising they were found by Pappy and his dastardly Corsair squadron once again!

After multiple maneuvers and use of new Theater and Battle Doctrines Pappy was able to drive Akahori and his squadron back to their base.

Pappy and his men celebrated their hard fought victory when they returned home.
