Sorry folks but the pic I used for this was from an earlier battle. We were very busy here at Ricks cards in Clarksville TN. We had to play our game on the desert table which is not very D-Day like. So anyway...
My poor Germans got crushed! The panther went down in turn 2. I just couldn't seem to hit anything in the early turns, so I tried to close the distance and did manage to knock out a Sherman 4. Sadly that was the high point for the Germans since next turn I lost 2 tanks to not even a hit on the Americans. It was a slaughter and a hard loss for me.
Lesson learned for me is never use armor without infantry support. I have 5 Hanomags now. I need to use them.
