Lawn Darts versus 2nd Panzer Div in a fierce infantry engagement
Played a 4-player version of the new “Christmas Hardtack” scenario. Allied players barely eeked out a win – they captured a prisoner but lost two soldiers int the process. It was a nice change of pace from the larger scale games we usually played. Since no one owned British Commando models, we used US Airborne instead. I’ve attached the picture of my squad escorting the prisoner off the board.

29 Let's Go! versus 2nd Panzer Div in a fierce infantry engagement
Four of us played the Christmas Hardtack scenario. We enlarged the playing area slightly and doubled the forces. The commandos moved out quickly and engaged two German squads by the second turn. A prisoner was taken but the alarm was raised. As the commando teams fell back to the sea, they took a couple of casualties but were able to escape with the prisoner. A narrow victory for the Allies!

US versus 352nd Infantry Div in a fierce infantry engagement
Big battle of six players forSword beach and Pegasus bridge. On the beach landed great overwhelm of allies, but the Germans was frightened by paratroopers at Pegasus bridge and sent against them all reinforcements originally designated for the beaches. After a hard fight, the Allies rolled out of the beaches, but nobody could help the paratroopers at the bridge anymore..

Commando Bait versus Nick Notorious Nightfighters in a fierce infantry engagement
The British Paras were dug in well at Peagus bridge as the Germany grenadiers approached. The defenses around the cafe soon opened up and took a toll on the advancing Germans. However the Germans on the right flank swarmed on the lone unit of paras defending a fortified building. As more German units arrived and advanced on the bridge it looked lost for the allies but then the bagpipes started and commando units arrived. They took a heavy toll on the Germans on the right flank and all bar annihilated them. With the paras holding the cafe and surrounding buildings on the left flank and the Commandos routing the Germans on the right, Pegasus Bridge was lost to the Axis and held by the Allies.
