Full disclosure. This was another game where I am trying to convert 40K players to Bolt Action. So my opponent used my German army and I was playing under my allied profile. Both of us being tread heads we decided on Tank War.
I should have won this game against a new player but, my dice abandoned me right from the beginning. Through the entire game I only managed to destroy 1 panther and immobilize a panzer VI. The American force was almost totally wiped out.
Sorry no pictures of my humiliating defeat. We are scheduled to rematch tomorrow and switching sides so we will see how that goes.

Skinner's Commandos versus The Wall in an armoured engagement
An attempt to force a bridge crossing was stymied by a lone Panther supported by Fallschirmjaeger. The Panther held on long enough (regardless of a tardy artillery barrage) to allow local German units to escape. A Firefly finally destroyed the Panzer V. The charges set to destroy the crossing failed to ignite, leaving a crossing for following Allied forces.

6th Airborne Division versus Germans in an armoured engagement
Guards Armoured Division advance south east of Cean meet elements of a German Panzer detachment. Aboth sides exchanged fire but many of the German big cats shots missed the troops of Sherman’s and Cromwells.
The Sherman’s managed to knock out the German support vehicles leaving the Tigers fastly out numbered. After a lucky shot knocking out one Tiger the rest decided to withdraw against the British armour.

German grenadier’s versus FFI in an armoured engagement
2 panthers and 1 tiger of the replacement heavy tank platoon were engaged by the French 2nd armoured brigade after some fierce fighting destroyed tank hulls were everywhere, no foothold was gained by either side and it ended in a draw. 8-8. Meeting engagement.
