Report a Battle

Relax soldier, Paris has fallen. You deserve a rest!

My venerable S-100, Lil Kira, handily sunk a Royal Navy Vosper and sent another limping into its home port. The bridge was shot up and some signal flares cooked off, some engine damage was uffered, but we should be repaired and ready for tomorrow’s convoy duty. Kapitan C. Jesske

750pt battle between HMS Starling with two MTBs in support and two Hei class Minesweepers with 6 Maru-Ni. One Minesweeper was sunk by a combination of 4″ shells and torpedoes and one Maru-Ni was also sunk and the other Minesweeper badly damaged. It survived only because the torpedo that hit it was a dud. Sadly no Royal Navy vessels survived the battle.

This was actually Italians and Brits, but given that they’re still the bad Italians, that counts as Axis, I guess. The Italians were hard pressed closing against large RN vessels, but the MAS boats finally closed to a distance perfect for torpedoes and knocked out the British corvettes, while the Gabbiano-class frigate managed to beat back and sink the MTBs that pursued it. Thank spaghetti, Parmesan, and pizza for overwhelming 20mm fire.

A Company’s friends in the Royal Navy fought a Torpedo Run, trying to stop the Germans from being re-supplied. After several ineffective launches, one torpedo from Vosper 2 struck home, doing serious damage to the tanker. A fierce gun duel with the E-Boat finally resulted in it being sunk, and the heavily damaged British ships were able to finish off the tanker with their deck guns.
