Battle for the resumption of Isigny by the American forces.
Held by two battalions of Panzer Division, Isigny, strategic crossroads, must not fall in order to slow the inexorable advance of the Allies.
The American infantry, supported by an armoured division attempts a breakthrough on the outskirts of Isigny and sinks the first SS lines of defense positioned in the suburbs.
In Isigny itself, GIs have more difficulties to take a stand, especially in the church sector. The melee is raging and every meter of ground is won from both sides in sweat and blood
But at the cost of fierce resistance, the German forces still hold Isigny in the early morning … until the next attack!

Red Devils versus Ss defender in a fierce infantry engagement
US landing near La Pointe du Hoc supported by Britsh paratroopers force who was supposed to secure and hold a coastal village 2 miles away from the coast.
After a difficult American breakthrough across the German defense lines, the GI’s manage to seize the two main bunkers.
On their side, the British paratroopers must hold the village and face a German counter-attack led by a motorized platoon of veterans and 2 Panzer 4.
After more than 5 hours of bitter fighting, the German counterattack is stopped, at the cost of heavy losses in the British Forces, the GIs manage to fight their way through the lines of German coastal defenses and the junction between the American infantry and the English paras is made around 5.00 pm.

Some louse dice, some good placement of the Germans, and the US Paras lost in the sixth round by sudden death.
A very good scenario we will do again.
