Brandenburgers versus Tommies in an armoured engagement
The Axis were again on the advance. The British were under strength in this area and elected to hold the ground. The Germans pressed the advance. To begin with the British were ineffective with their anti tank fire but eventually shots told. However, not before some German armour had slipped through the gap to fight again.

289th Infantry Regiment versus 352nd Pionier Battalion in a fierce infantry engagement
The 101st advanced in to a small village and encountered resistance from a group of German Pioneers. They were able to drive a sniper off and call in an airstrike to destroy and advancing armored vehicle. After a brief series of small arms fire, bot sides retreated to report back to their HQs.

A furious air battled resulted in one plane down shot down on each side and then both squadrons retreating from the airspace.

Great small game using the Demolition mission from the main rule book.
A very back and forth battle, I would fail an order test then he would, I destroyed half a squad of his Majesty’s semi accurate rifles and then he destroyed half a squad of my grenadier regiment. In the end I rushed my objective but was pushed back before the turn could end.
On the plus side my inexperienced half track survived the battle. A first for me.
