Blue Spaders versus speedbump in a fierce infantry engagement

Sure there were no Japanese in France but everyone has their favorite army to play and play against. But anyway…..
First game for the Japanese in a while. That being said the banzai charge has lost none of its terrifying effectiveness. Next time the Americans should bring more tommy guns. and more artillery and more machine guns and more of just about everything. Next time.

922. Grenadier Regiment, 3rd Bn versus 502d PIR in a fierce infantry engagement

Elements of the 922. Grenadier Regiment engaged with elements of the 502D PIR near Caen. A drawn out battle resulted in following casualties; the Germans lost a mortar team, a Hanomag, a squad, and it’s officer element. The Airborne lost a Jeep, a squad, and an officer element. However, due to better positioning, it was a marginal victory for the Germans but it was not a decisive victory, and thus both sides claimed a draw.

Red Devils versus Ss defender in a fierce infantry engagement

The Pegasus Bridge was clearly a strategic point and the battle was a hrsh one ending in a draw though, honestly, the victory should have fallen to the Allied side. Anyway, though the Britis paras held the bridge till the end they failed to fully secure the bridgehead required on arrival reinforcements provided. So moral victory for the Allies, but in fact, the game ends on a draw.

Atlantic Wall versus Invasion France in a fierce infantry engagement

Sword Beach, virtually a draw as 5000 points of British 3rd Infantry Division took on 1104 points of the German 716th Infantry Division. The Germans just held off the British sustained assault and held the route off the beach. a very close British 9 victory points to German 11 victory points.

White Fire Batalion versus Fallschirmjager Sturmgruppe 7 in a fierce infantry engagement

First game of two played in BOLTER Wrocław 9.06.2019. Us 1 st inf div with Rangers lands on beach of bloody Omaha. Initial bombardement scored 3 direct hits so inf moved fast throu sand, but after Germans returned to their senses, they shot a lot of first wave troops. In the end US opened small window for second wave to charge throu.

A squad of A Company met a squad of Das Heer for a Firefight of Maximum Attrition. Although the Americans killed 1 more man than the Germans, it was just too close to be a win

Kampfgruppe Donnervogel versus Cheesy army in a fierce infantry engagement

US troopers rushed the German held train station, where a small garnison was desperately waiting for reinforcements. Combat intensified with the arrival of the relief force, but despite much brave attempts made on both sides, the objective remained contested when the dust had settled.
