Violins of Autumn. Despite killing all 3 German squads the French Resistance is unable to destroy the rail line, looses it’s Officer and Liaison Officer. Germans win 4-3.

It was a fight between the partisans and Germans. The rebels fought valiantly but were no match for the Germans.

Walmart Warriors versus 22 SS heavy panzer in an armoured engagement
Sherman convoy with supporting mechanised infantry came across a panther troop.
Attempting to move hard and fast to close the distance where the 75mm guns, bazookas and engineers could engage the heavier tanks the convoy fell to extremely accurate fire from across the battlefield.
With the convoy bogged down the supporting infantry were able to destroy half the german troop before being wiped out.

Walmart Warriors versus 22 SS heavy panzer in a fierce infantry engagement
Mechanised american forces approached a small village beside a river and railway with an approaching German armoured assult element.
The german supporting infantry was driven off early on, american airpower, mortar and artillery fire were not able to destroy or disable the german armour and the americans were forced to retreat with 50% casulties.

Free French Forces versus Italian Alpini in an aerial engagement
A newly transferred E-7 Trop from North Africa were able to ambush an RAF flight of 2 Spitfire Mk2 on a recon mission of the shipping lanes. There were no RAF casualties but the flight disengaged due to heavy fire.
