Full disclosure. This was another game where I am trying to convert 40K players to Bolt Action. So my opponent used my German army and I was playing under my allied profile. Both of us being tread heads we decided on Tank War.
I should have won this game against a new player but, my dice abandoned me right from the beginning. Through the entire game I only managed to destroy 1 panther and immobilize a panzer VI. The American force was almost totally wiped out.
Sorry no pictures of my humiliating defeat. We are scheduled to rematch tomorrow and switching sides so we will see how that goes.

Akahori's Black Tiger Company versus Irish Rangers in an aerial engagement
Akahori and Pappy met once again in the skies over the Pacific. Akahori was able to quickly outmaneuver the Corsair pilots while Pappy and another Ace attempted to swing around the enemy Zeros. In the end Pappy had to pull his fighters back to base to regroup and prepare for a future engagement.

Foxes and Rabbits
German snipers, although ineffective, held up the advance of the US troops. However, other German units caused heavy casualties. Only one US unit managed to escape from the ambush.

Task Force Hawk versus JG-26 and ZG-26 in an aerial engagement
Played Scenario 0 with a PR-configured Spitfire, aggressed by Bf109s (since Axis player had no FW190s). Spitfire almost made it off of the board before being shot down with less than 4″ to go!

Although the airfields had suffered substantial damage during the attack , the raf lost substantial numbers against a prepared Luftwaffe defence…
Although German losses were not as high as previously reported, further pressure must be applied to the enemy
