Last night our bombers crossed the front lines successfully under cover of darkness…
Minimal losses were taken to our escorts as a lone patrol of bf110s encountered the force on a routine patrol.
Although the enemy fled after substantial losses our escorts were forced to break away allowing our bombers to continue now unimpeded to their targets

Guards Armoured Division advance south east of Cean meet elements of a German Panzer detachment. Aboth sides exchanged fire but many of the German big cats shots missed the troops of Sherman’s and Cromwells.
The Sherman’s managed to knock out the German support vehicles leaving the Tigers fastly out numbered. After a lucky shot knocking out one Tiger the rest decided to withdraw against the British armour.

Allied planes were victorious over the skies of Normandy today, some quite fierce fighting by the allies managed to squeeze in a victory.

The German anti tank guns tried to stem the tide. An 88 took out one British tank, but there were just too many. The axis positions were overrun.

So the SAS were carrying out a foot patrol and met the dreaded hun also out for a stroll. A vicious firefight then followed the sniper duel in which the brave british sniper was fatally wounded. Despite the amount of fire being directed their way, the SAS kept pushing forward until their manpacked flamethrower cleared the beastly jerries from their hiding place behind the wall. This allowed the remaining troopers to push through and clear the flank, winning the game for the allies.

Special mention should go to the SAS medic, who braving enemy fire managed to treat several badly wounded troopers and enabled the advance to carry on.

A photo reconnaissance mission by the RAF was easily accomplished after a poor initial intercept vector by the Luftwaffe left them poorly positioned to respond to the RAF’S evasive maneuvers.
