kampfgruppen smiledge versus Captain's Avengers in a fierce infantry engagement
ALLIED WIN!!! It was two mechanized platoons in a meeting engagement at a road intersection. Both were moving to a church that we decided would be the objective since we all know that hill tops make great observation points.
In a normal game the Germans would have achieved a crushing victory. With 11 U.S. units destroyed or forced to run off the battlefield to 2 German units destroyed. American Rangers held the church in the end despite several units of Germans trying to dislodge them.
It was our own narrative game and we had a blast.

Akahori's Black Tiger Company versus Irish Rangers in a fierce infantry engagement
The Germans were well prepared for the initial US landings at Omaha beach. They were able to delay the advance die to multiple well placed shots from an 88 and an Anti-tank gun. They were able to destroy multiple US landing craft in deep and shallow water, causing many US troop to wade to shore under fire.
Once the US troops made landfall they were met with well placed machinegun and artillery fire. This prevented the US troops from quickly taking a command bunker and significantly delayed their ability to gain control of a vital crossroad objective.

1000 points German SS vs British Army
Scenario: Top Secret
Units of the Spanish Blue Legion, attached to SS units, clashed with British Infantry and armor over a crate displaced German intel documents. Axis Calvary and mechanized pioneers rapidly moved up to seize the objected facing withering artillery and small arms fire. Although the Brits tenacity against the Axis could not stop them from completing their mission.

Americans having heard of a German counterattack, intercept a group of SS operating a bypass.
Supported by a Panzer IV and a Pak 40, the German soldiers try to break the American line.
The particularly effective Yankee artillery will annihilate all the efforts of the enemy without giving them a chance.

PapaShultzDivision versus US Army 1st Infantry Division in a fierce infantry engagement
The LXXXIV Corps is facing a breakthrough from the 1st US Division in the suburbs of Condé sur Vire.
The fighting is fierce and the German forces are struggling to contain the first American assaults.
The axis has no other choice but to retreat to the church sector and to keep it at all costs.
With a strong defensive position and the support of a panzer IV, the balance of the battle finally leans in favor of the Axis forces, at the price of bloody melees, the germans manage to repel (at least for a time) the Big Red One and chasing them from Condé sur Vire.

Rookie James was shown the ropes in a fierce intro game which left both sides bloodied but unbroken. He decided to withdraw until lines of supply could be established to bolster his pocket money reserves.
