2nd Panzer Div versus Lawn Darts in a fierce infantry engagement

Played a 4-player version of the new “Christmas Hardtack” scenario. Allied players barely eeked out a win – they captured a prisoner but lost two soldiers int the process. It was a nice change of pace from the larger scale games we usually played. Since no one owned British Commando models, we used US Airborne instead. I’ve attached the picture of my squad escorting the prisoner off the board.

2nd Panzer Div versus 29 Let's Go! in a fierce infantry engagement

Four of us played the Christmas Hardtack scenario. We enlarged the playing area slightly and doubled the forces. The commandos moved out quickly and engaged two German squads by the second turn. A prisoner was taken but the alarm was raised. As the commando teams fell back to the sea, they took a couple of casualties but were able to escape with the prisoner. A narrow victory for the Allies!

2nd Panzer Div versus 29 Let's Go! in a fierce infantry engagement

We played Postage Able and the Allies eked out a win of 6 points to 5. Both commandos were discovered during the course of the game but only one commando was successful in silencing the German sentry.
