Brandenburgers versus Allies in a fierce infantry engagement
Foxes and Rabbits
German snipers, although ineffective, held up the advance of the US troops. However, other German units caused heavy casualties. Only one US unit managed to escape from the ambush.

kampfgruppen smiledge versus Saber Tooth Pack in a fierce infantry engagement
Fixed battle for victory points. lots of fire and maneuver with surprisingly few casualties. Besides an entire squad or grenadiers and a few hanomags that is. The Americans lost a sherman (see pic) and their artillery along with a few guys from every squad.
From the German side it started badly with a hanomag getting blasted by the sherman and blocking my 88 from returning fire. So the 88 decided to direct fire the American artillery and end that threat. The Americans pushed hard from their left while the Germans were forcing the other side of the table. Both sides were out of place to bring the battle to a satisfactory conclusion.
We had to end a turn early as it was getting late but if the game went on it probably still woulda been a draw. So says the German commander anyway.

Kampfgruppe Markt Grun versus Aaron's Heros in a fierce infantry engagement
Brandenburg units attached to Kampfgruppe Markt Grun engaged US forces, in what they thought was a training exercise. The Axis forces were left holding the field of battle despite a Stuart Tank joining the fray, though they were aided by the Americans attempting to murder their own officer

The Canadians have been trying to get into Caen. They have been repulsed with heavy losses by brave German defenders. They are no match for the SS defenders.

5th Gebirgs Regimant versus Glorious Glosters in a fierce infantry engagement
Gebirgsjager successfully defend the small hamlet of La Mariquet against a British Force. Casualties though, were high on both sides.

Brandenburgers versus Glorious Glosters in a fierce infantry engagement
The German anti tank guns tried to stem the tide. An 88 took out one British tank, but there were just too many. The axis positions were overrun.
