Pursuant to the morning’s probing engagement the American’s brought up a Sherman and more troops to pass through the crossroads what was just won. The Germans were not so willing to give up the intersection and threw some larger squads armed with heavy weapons at the Americans. The American vehicles took their toll while avoiding the flame throwers, Panzerfausts and Panzerschreck. The German forces were too widespread and the Americans were able to punch through.
