Red Devils versus 352nd Infantry Division in a fierce infantry engagement

The foothills of Vimoutiers give a perfect shelter to a German resistance pocket and a battery of artillery.
We must eliminate this threat that disrupts the Allied plans to reconquer Normandy.

This delicate mission is entrusted to the Red Devils who by their mobility and their ability to redeploy quickly, should be able to cope with it.

Unfortunately the first skirmishes show that the Axis forces are also heavily motorized, which greatly complicates the task of the British.
After several daring maneuvers, the Red Devils finally get rid of the last Sdkfz 250/1, leaving the artillery battery vulnerable to a more conventional melee attack.

Vimoutiers finally falls after more than 8 hours of fierce fighting.
