This was actually Italians and Brits, but given that they're still the bad Italians, that counts as Axis, I guess. The Italians were hard pressed closing against large RN vessels, but the MAS boats finally closed to a distance perfect for torpedoes and knocked out the British corvettes, while the Gabbiano-class frigate managed to beat back and sink the MTBs that pursued it. Thank spaghetti, Parmesan, and pizza for overwhelming 20mm fire.
