The Allies had broken through the Atlantic wall only to be met by the battle hardened men from 3 Fallschirmjäger Division in bocage country. Here the Fallschirmjäger inflicted heavy losses on the unwary Allies. A heavy barrage from a lone nebelwerfer caused enough havoc to seriously slow the advance due to the large amount of pins inflicted.
