Mein General, reports of an overwhelming success by the French terrorists were highly exaggerated. While they did destroy the railway line & kill over 2 dozen of the Reich's brave defenders they fled the field in terror. Although a search of the battlefield found the bodies of only 3 partisans it is believed that they took bodies of most of their dead with them, a number in excess of 100 if the claims of our brave troops are to be believed. Partisan claims that they completed their mission & killed every German they could find before strolling off the field are obvious Allied lies and propaganda. Anyone repeating this slander against the Wehrmacht will be subject to summary execution.
